Chicken Pockets
2 containers of reduced fat crescent rolls
8 oz (2 breasts) chicken, cooked and shredded
1 packet of turkey pepperoni, slice about half the package in half
6 slices of low fat American cheese slices (or you can do fat free)
1 jar of pizza marinara sauce
Preheat oven to the time/temperature on the crescent roll package. Open up rolls and pull off two (triangle) off roll. Pinch the two triangles together to make a square. Add ¼ slice of your American cheese, scoop of chicken, sliced pepperoni, and one more ¼ slice cheese on top. Place another square of dough on top of the cheese. Fork around the edges so the “pocket” is closed. After you finish making all of the crescent rolls, place them on a cookie sheet and bake for the allotted time on the package. Top with heated marinara sauce and enjoy!
Serve with a spinach salad or fresh green beans.
