Cru Cafe Restaurant Review
Cru Cafe
The weather is starting to warm up a bit and what is better than enjoying sitting outdoors and grabbing lunch or dinner with your girlfriends or co-workers…
I recently ventured into Cru Cafe on Pinckney street with my hubby. The cafe has a cute, romantic atmosphere and they offer a variety of yummy comfort foods, wines, and desserts. However, they also have several items on the menu that are fitting for the waistline.
When I ate dinner at Cru cafe I opted to go for the “healthier” option. My dinner was so tasty and delicious and pretty friendly on the wallet. I decided to have the center cut tuna steak (cooked medium rare) served with arugula salad (take off the crispy onions for a lighter meal). They offer a variety of sauces to pour over your tuna steak and I opted for the smoked tomato demi on the side. Everything was so flavorful, satisfying, and filling!
If you aren’t in the mood for fish, they offer a variety of small plates and light salads (with the dressing on the side, of course).
They open their doors Tuesday thru Saturday at 11am-3pm for lunch and 5pm for dinner. Cru cafe is a true hidden gem in Charleston, SC. Hope you enjoy this little spot as much as I do.
