Hits with the Kids
So, I know that I am far, far away from having to send my baby off to school with a packed lunch and healthy snacks but I started thinking……what do I feed a child?? I don’t want them always turning to candy bars, bagged chips, and sodas, so I have come up with a few ideas that I believe children will love to eat. School is right around the corner and you may be thinking to yourself, what in the world can I pack in my child’s lunch that is going to be tasty, yet nutritious? I have a few quick and easy ideas that will be sure to make your little one smile while eating these treats. Some of the ideas you can make for after school treats and you can involve your child in the process. It will be great mother/daughter/son time! And if you don’t have any kids and aren’t expecting to anytime soon, you can also eat these treats. Adults need fun snacks too!

Just cut your apple up into quarters and remove the core. Cut three grapes in half and slice two triangle toess in 4 of the halves. You can use a little peanut butter to stick the arms to the frog and then add his hands and feet. For the eyes, take a couple of small marshmallows and add a dark chocolate chip to the middle. Stick your marshmallows on with a little bit of peanut butter. Enjoy!
