Pizza, Pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza? It is just un-American to dislike the simple, easy to make concoction of dough, tomato sauce, and cheese! I am going to give you three pizza recipes that will make your taste buds scream. These are individual pizzas, so you can make them however you like them and your friends, family, and kids can make their own too. It is a fun family project. Enjoy!!
Cheesy Chicken & Veggie Pizza:
1 whole wheat thin bagel
2 Tbsp all natural pizza sauce (low sodium if you can find it)
1 Tbsp onion, chopped
1 Tbsp yellow bell pepper, chopped
1/3 cup rotisserie chicken breast, shredded
2 Tbsp sun-dried tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup Sargento Italian cheese, reduced fat
Garnish with sliced basil leaves
Red Pepper flakes to taste
Break your bagel in half. Spread the pizza sauce on each half covering every inch. Top with chicken. Cover with cheese. Top cheese with onion, sun dried tomatoes, yellow pepper, and basil. Place your pizza into a toaster oven or oven at 350 for 10 minutes (if you like it crispy, do not put onto a baking sheet). Finish off with 1-2 minutes of broiling to melt and brown cheese.
Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza:
1 whole wheat thin bagel

1/4 cup morning star farms sausage crumbles
5 turkey pepperoni slices, sliced into quarters
1/2 cup Sargento Italian cheese, reduced fat

BBQ Chicken Pizza:

1 Tbsp onion, chopped
1/3 cup rotisserie chicken breast, shredded
1/2 cup Sargento Cheddar cheese, reduced fat
