Understanding Portions
Portions. What are portions? They can be oh so tricky sometimes. It can be very easy to eat chips out of a bag, pour a bowl of cereal in one of those huge bowls, devour a box of wheat thins, spoon ice cream right out of the carton, or drink a huge glass of wine without even knowing how many calories you’ve just consumed. Does this sound like you? If so, you need to watch this video by Lauren Manaker, RD. Lauren is going to go through some common misconceptions people have when pouring/preparing foods onto a plate or in a bowl. Watch her today so you can eat the proper serving sizes suggested and don’t go overboard with your calories.
