Bounce a Quarter off your Buns Challenge
Can you handle lifting JUST your body weight? Try this body weight workout challenge that will have your thighs screaming, butt tensing, and hamstrings tightening in a matter of minutes. The results= tight, toned, lifted, bounce a quarter off booty and legs.
You will need a sturdy chair or a Bosu ball (if you have one). The bosu will help work on more balance and the chair will help work on your fitness (aka cardiovascular).
Workout:
Start with feet a little wider than shoulder width apart. You are going to squat down so that you are doing a wide-leg squat. Make sure you get your thighs parallel to the floor (if you are a beginner) and even lower if you are intermediate or advanced. When you come back into a standing position, you are going to step your feet closer together and prepare to step up onto your chair or Bosu using a side step (as shown in the picture). Step up onto your chair/Bosu and step down on the opposite side. Position your feet so that they are wide again for another wide-leg squat. Perform your squat on this side and THAT series equals 1 repetition.
Now, here’s the kicker……..you are going to try and complete 100 repetitions. If you are going to be doing this workout again, time yourself so that you can compare times. Go as fast as you can, but be safe and make sure you are completing the proper form! Burn TONS of calories and Have fun!
