Cardio Ride

So…….I have 15 lbs of left over baby weight that I want to lose.  I will post pictures of myself so that y’all can see that I am having to work hard too to lose these extra pounds.  I have to work hard by eating healthy meals and snacks and giving each workout my all.  I know it will be a challenge with a new baby, but I am putting my mind to it and I am giving myself a goal of 12 weeks (approx May 1st) to lose the rest of this weight.  Follow me each week with my own personal workouts and meals that will help me meet that challenge.  Today’s workout was short but effective. I only had 40 minutes to squeeze in cardio and weights. I needed to make the most of the time I had, so this is what I did:

Stationary Bike= 30 min, complete 6 rounds
1 min standing ride-high tension (should increase with each round)
1 min seated ride- high tension
1 min sprints- low/med tension
1 min jumps- high tension (count to 10 while standing, then count to 10 while seated…..don’t pull yourself up with hands)
1 min rest ride- low tension

Resistance Band- 20 reps for each exercise for 1 set:

Shoulder presses
Bicep curls
Tricep kickbacks
Front shoulder raise
Bent over rows

Abs-
windmills 10 each side
Supermans 20
Plank 1 minute
