The Mailbox Run
It’s Friday and you need to get a quick cardio workout in before heading out for your big Friday night. You’ve had a long week at work and need to run off some stress. It is much better to blow off steam with exercise than with eating and drinking too much (your head will HATE you in the morning). So, I wrote up a quick and easy cardio workout that only takes 30 minutes and burns about 250-300 calories. It is called the mailbox run because you are going to use mailboxes in the neighborhood for your run.
Start your stopwatch!
Walk to the second mailbox you see. When you hit this mailbox, you are going to take off in a full on SPRINT.
Sprint to the second mailbox you see. Repeat the walk/sprint until you have run around your neighborhood for 30
minutes.
** If you feel like a superstar, replace the walks with a jog or run.**
